Global Accounts Receivable Manager

Description Required Experience7-10 years of accounting management experience, preferably in a global high volume processing environment.

Experience with Oracle preferred. Solid background in process improvement, project management and execution of company initiatives.

Oracle R12 experience Open to managing a global team based in India (outsourced)….needs to be patient and persistent Demonstrated Process Improvement, Project Management, and Internal Controls experience Experience with CitiDirect, HSBC, and Chase Bank platformsJob Duties/RolesResponsible for the development, support and operations of finance and accounting activities related to the Shared Services Accounts Receivable function.

Set internal control procedures in accordance with management and internal audit expectations (ensuring continuous compliance). Timely and accurate cash application with a constant focus on process improvements.

Develop and maintain policy and procedures for AR processes.

Manage all Accounts Receivable accounting processes.

Assist in Balance sheet reconciliations and review. Ensure all reconciling items are cleared timely and accurately.

Provide training, assistance and guidance to staff.

Coordinate monthly "closing" deadlines with finance staff.

Provide assistance to business users with questions regarding the processing of applying cash and customer accounts.

Ensure that audit schedules and supporting documentation is accurately prepared.

Coordinate year-end reporting and financial closing requirements with business.

Provide ad hoc journal entries as needed to support fiscal close processes.

Assist with annual departmental budget.

Maintain regular KPIs of global accounts receivable processes. Utilize metrics to drive process improvements across the organization.

Provide leadership and direction for the Shared Services Accounts Receivable function in order to achieve quality service for internal and external customers.

Maintain documentation of all accounts receivable SOPs ensuring consistent and repeatable processes.

Provide continuous training to the accounts receivable staff and set expectations of continued technical growth.
