Qualified candidates should send a copy of their most updated resume to Mark Ahrenholtz at for consideration IT Support Specialist The IT Support Specialist is responsible for providing technical assistance and answers to users' questions, assisting users by troubleshooting problems with computer hardware or software, and delivering excellent customer service. Candidate will also assist with the implementation of company software and tools. This position reports to the Chief Information Officer.Essential Functions

  • Fields support calls, chat, email, and/or other communication from users with inquiries regarding hardware, software, connectivity, printing, and similar concerns.
  • Applies knowledge of computer hardware, software and procedures to solve problems.
  • Guides users through diagnostic and troubleshooting processes, which may include use of diagnostic tools and software and/or following verbal instructions.
  • Collaborates with other staff to research and resolve problems.
  • Arranges service by software or hardware vendors to repair or replace defective products.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work to time constraints.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills with professional telephone manners. Ability to explain technical issues to technical and nontechnical employees and vendors. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Windows and Office 365.
  • Experience with Citrix and/or Sage Accounting/Estimating software a plus.
  • Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn an array of computer hardware and software.
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (or related field) or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Microsoft certifications would be a plus.
  • Bilingual (Spanish) would be a plus.
Travel and Physical Requirements
  • 5-10% Travel time. Employee will be required to travel to remote locations and branch offices.
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
