As an enabling function, the Digital Technology team supports all product companies and functions in the Baker Hughes organization

Partner with the best

As an experienced M&A leader, you will represent Digital Technology with the Business Development team to execute on the Energy Transition strategy for Baker Hughes. In this role you will collaborate within a matrix organization structure for deal strategy definition and delivery. You will have the opportunity to nurture talent and build high performing teams through solid and dotted line matrix team structures.

As a Director - Program Management, you will be responsible for:
  • Leading and running a deal for Digital Technology from deal origination to operations handoff
  • Operating in a matrix environment and collaborating with the Business Development and Digital Technology teams
  • Representing Baker Hughes with external parties and providing strategic counsel and proposals to the business teams
  • Leveraging internal SMEs and augmenting with external SMEs as appropriate for deal assessment and execution
  • Ensuring successful, end-to-end delivery of a project or a program through ongoing stakeholder engagement, partnering with technical teams, and coordination of all required activities and milestones
  • Project prioritization and initiation, responsible for definition of and compliance with project management methodologies, performing regular tracking and reporting on progress, and accountable for execution
  • Managing stakeholder relationships and influencing/aligning with various teams on the appropriate technology strategy
  • Conducting leadership report outs including steering committee meetings
  • Building and sharing knowledge base with best practices and methodologies

To be successful in this role you must:
  • Have a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college
  • Have additional years of experience in Program Management
  • Have experience in IT project management
  • Have strong oral and written communication skills
  • Have strong interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Have demonstrated ability to analyse and resolve problems
  • Have demonstrated ability to lead programs/projects
  • Have ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs
