THIS IS A 2-YEAR CONTRACT LOCATED IN NEWPORT NEWS, VA PAYING $120 PER DIEMRequired Experience:
2+years of experience as a CNC Machinist.
Description:
Set up and operate CNC and Manual Machines.
Set up and operate lathes and mills, vertical and horizontal.
Vertical Turning Centers, Horizontal Boring Mills, EDM Machines, etc.
Experience with controllers such as: Fanuc, Siemens, Acramatic, Cincinnati-Milacron, etc.
Familiar with the use of precision measuring instruments: outside/inside micrometers, depth mics, verniers, etc.
Familiar with threading and the various measuring/gauging requirements.
Familiar with Numerical Controlled Processes, Manual Data Input, Tooling Offsets, Conversation Controllers, etc.
Ability to comprehend complex mechanical drawings and blueprints.
Ability to read, edit, and write programming.
