Powershell Developer

Genuent is hiring a Powershell Developer for our direct client in Houston, TX. Qualified candidate should send their resume (Word format) to Mark Ahrenholtz at PowerShell Developer will develop PowerShell scripts and cmdlets which are used for automation, aggregation, and reporting in a very agile environment.Responsibilities include:

• Develop, test, deploy PowerShell scripts and cmdlets based on business requirements
• Create and maintain documentation
• Analyze requirements, provide robust time and effort estimation
• Interact with other teams and departments on common projects
• Design and implement PowerShell scripts to automate wide variety of server/infrastructure/repeated tasks/processes, strengthening departmental audit capabilities
• Provide administrative functions to include account management, resource monitoring, system backups and restoration, read and edit PowerShell scripts
• Create batches via CSV files and PowerShell for moves to Office 365 for user mailboxes
• Create PowerShell scripts to automate day to day Exchange administration tasks and server deployments
• Create shared mailboxes and distribution lists through creating scripts within PowerShell
• Use PowerShell to compile statistics reports and provided them to executives monthly
• Resolve Office 365 tasks with the use of PowerShell
• Create PowerShell scripts for reporting and making changes
• Create PowerShell scripts to administer Exchange and AD

• Strong PowerShell programming/development skills
• Running PowerShell in Azure
• Knowledge of common Azure AD cmdlets
• Windows 10 client-side PowerShell scripting (e.g. installing device drivers, removing software)
• PowerShell scripting, task automation and configuration, including interaction with API
• Develop and implement PowerShell to automate support functions as part of process improvement
• Automated and executed Office 365 administrative tasks via PowerShell such as user account licensing and statistic reporting
• Administered monthly Exchange database moves through PowerShell
• Used PowerShell for daily operations such as monitoring servers and databases
• Works with an automation mind set. Proven expertise in the use and creation of PowerShell scripts.

• Bachelors Degree

• Five years relevant experience. May substitute required education degree with additional years of equivalent experience on a one to one basis
