We are currently looking for an ambitious RAC (Recovery Audit Contractor) Specialist (non-certified) to help us reach our goals. Unlock your potential here!

As an RAC (Recovery Audit Contractor) Specialist (non-certified), you will be responsible for performing aily appeal audit follow- up, monitoring RAC audit trends and issues and updated financial transactions.

What you will do in this role:

Review medical records and other documentation for accuracy and professional appearance, and send RAC appeal package accordingly.

Monitor RAC takebacks and appeal status by running appropriate reports and contacting insurance companies to resolve claims denied for clinical reasons

Identify problem claims and trends and escalate as appropriate

Update the RRT and any other systems (Artiva, SSD Web Tools) to identify actions taken on the account

Work with RAC Agencies to secure payment on account balances outstanding

Practice and adhere to the “Code of Conduct” philosophy and “Mission and Value Statement”

Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

EDUCATION High school diploma or GED Preferred.

EXPERIENCE Minimum one year of experience in related area required.Experience with Medicare and Medicaid remits – HCPC codes – Ubs - appeals
