Hearst Newspapers Talent Acquisition team is a small (but mighty!), distributed team focused on providing an excellent candidate experience and achieving the hiring goals for a rapidly growing organization. The bar for talent at Hearst Newspapers is extremely high, and we need an “A” player to join our team. We’re looking for a thoughtful, thorough and strategic Recruiting & Sourcing Coordinator to partner with our Recruiting team to help support growth on our talented sales teams across the company. In this position you will support three recruiters by sourcing candidates, qualifying resumes, and scheduling interviews with the recruiting team and hiring managers. You will play a leading role in creatively identifying and engaging talent, improving and contributing to our employer brand, and scaling our recruiting practice. Above all, you will be responsible for Hearst’s most important asset - its people! How you’ll make an impact:
  • Source top prospects for open roles via LinkedIn, Zip Recruiter, Indeed, etc
  • High volume inmail outreach to passive candidates - Create and compose compelling messaging that highlights the exciting challenges and incredible culture at Hearst!
  • Proactively identify creative approaches to improve response rates and candidate quality.
  • Collaborate with Recruiters, hiring teams to schedule phone and video interviews with candidates
  • Sending candidate assessments
  • Posting jobs on different platforms and assessing resumes for job fit
  • Support Recruiters by screening potential candidates for interest level and availability
  • Attending Recruiting team meetings as necessary
  • Track and record candidate pipeline in Monday.com and Oracle ATS
Qualifications
  • Self-motivated, action-oriented, and eager to learn - you are constantly looking for opportunities to improve your craft and are receptive to feedback
  • Detail oriented with strong follow-up and follow-through skills
  • Proven ability to juggle and prioritize multiple time-sensitive tasks
  • At least 1 year experience with Linkedin Recruiter
  • Familiarity with posting and sourcing on various job boards
  • Previous experience with Recruiting for Advertising or B2B Sales roles is highly desirable!
