Senior Business Analyst / Data Analyst

JD 8+ Years IT Business Analysis experience (CBAP certification preferred, not required)4+ Years Agile project experience using Jira and Confluence4+ Years in data analysis and source to target data mappingDemonstrated experience with requirements elicitation, analysis, specification and validation.Strong analytical, organizational, and technical skills to analyze, model and interpret data.Preferred: business experience in HR data concepts and/or commercial services

Required SkillsStrong excel skills (basis SQL database query skills preferred)Expert data analysis skills - Data Lineage and Data Mapping between Source and Target systems.Data impact and gap analysis for source and target system and integration mapsInvestigates, analyzes, estimates requirements associated system applications in a large integrated solution environment.Documents business process, business rules and data related to all stages of automated system implementation in complex solutions, with online and batch processing of transactions.Conduct detailed data analysis on data used across business units to evaluate business processes and improve on/create new featureExpert facilitator of requirements elicitation and data mapping workshops and review of requirement deliverables with stakeholders at all levelsInterprets and translates business needs to technical requirementsAble to work with business stakeholders to prioritize requirements / change requestsPerform current state analysis through reverse engineering, identify source & downstream systems.Conducts feasibility analysis, project scoping and providing project work estimates.Experience with documenting user stories, planning and managing product backlog, planning and managing sprints, and implementing in an iterative manner.Experience in reporting progress of assignment(s) on a regular basis to Project Management and raise any issues / concerns and propose mitigation strategies.Experience with Production Support to investigate issues and propose solutions to fix them.
