Senior-System Engineer Job Description Info:For this position the candidate is expected to be an Architect/Development lead with experience developing and designing low latency, resilient and high performing J2EE applications. The candidate will represent the EDP application and work closely with product owners/managers, enterprise architects, marketing clients, and other stakeholders to analyze the business needs and develop designs and implement high performing solutions. The candidate will serve as a mentor to new developers and will review code from developers before production deployments. The person must have an intimate knowledge of the current Customer Service Summary, Disclosure and Retail Instilment Agreement generation processes being used at AT&T.Position Qualifications:Intimate knowledge of Customer Service Summary processing and business logic
Experience with Content Manager On Demand
Experience with real time Bill Estimation and Tax Estimation techniques and Retail Instalment Agreement generation.
Minimum of 10+ years of experience with developing low latency, resilient, highly scalable, fault-tolerant applications in Java/J2EE environment.
Minimum of 5+ years of experience in development in Linux environment.
10+ years of experience in developing Web Services (SOAP and REST).
10+ years of experience with Java ,Spring framework(Spring Boot ,Spring Security, Spring Data JPA, Spring AOP etc.).
5+ years of experience with web development technologies like HTML5, JSP, Thymeleaf, Bootstrap, CSS, jQuery, JavaScript etc.
5+ years of experience in Java 8+.
5+ years of experience in developing UIs using Angular or React.
3+ years of experience working with Kafka, MQ or other messaging platforms.
3+ years of experience contributing to the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems.
Hands on experience in developing Microservices using Domain Driven Design.
Hands on experience in building images and running containers using Docker.
Hands on experience in CI/CD processes and able to implement it for the desired technology (Kubernetes, Docker, Jenkins, Git and others).
Hands on experience of SQL and PL/SQL.
Experience with NoSQL databases.
Experience with Service Oriented Architecture (SOA).
Experience doing Software Development using Scaled Agile and DevSecOps methodology is preferred.
Experience in deploying applications to Azure(App Service, Functions, Azure Kubernetes Service, Azure Container Instances).
Experience with high volume ordering in supply chain environment

Proficient in Network Management, Tools and Protocols (Configuration, IP Network Address Management, Performance Management).
Knowledge of data center infrastructure (including blade center design, data warehouse design, Ebusiness/web hosting design, etc.)
Proficient in data communications protocols (TCP/IP, v4/v6, MPLS, BGP, OSPF, GMPLS, etc.)
Proficient in home and premise networking architectures, assessment and modeling.
Proficient in specifying and evaluating architecture requirements for RFXs.
Understands Virtualization, Storage and Content Deliver Networks (Cloud, CDM, Grid, SAN).
Knowledge in voice, video, and app technologies (circuit, VoIP, SIP, IMS, AIN, Camel, etc.).
Understands wireless technologies standards and protocols (3GPP, Wi-Fi, WiMAX, antennas, amplifiers, base stations, propagation, interference, spectrum).
Desired QualificationsAS degree in Engineering, Information Systems or related technical field
Experience in building multiple versions of large customer facing systems addressing performance and scale.
Develops technical documentation on applications and systems
