Description:o Provide technical hardware and software design leadership for industrial projects o Develop design packages for bid and construction o Coordinate and execute design and programming of PLC/DCS, HMI, VFD and Servo Motion projects from hardware design and software integration through construction start-up o Coordinate electrical engineering and lead design/CAD resources o Provide hardware and software design for machine design projects in consumer products and general industrial markets o Create project documentation including schedules, specifications, and cost estimates o Produce high quality project deliverables while working in a collaborative team environment o Gather data and provide installation, start up, and troubleshooting support o Work simultaneously on multiple project and client teams o Respond and support project and client requests for on-going controls troubleshooting, including ongoing support of production equipment (may include nights and weekends) o Ability to interface directly with client(s) as required o Ability to travel to other Foth offices or client locations (35% annually, up to 50% at times) Required Qualifications: o Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, or a combination of Two or Four year Technology Degree supplemented with equivalent technical training or experience o 3 – 7 years of relevant Engineering/Design experience with exposure to manufacturing environments, including troubleshooting complex projects and demonstrating proven experience in the following technical areas: o Rockwell Control Logix based PLC and Factory Talk View HMI Hardware & SoftwareSkills:Automation, Programming, Troubleshooting, hmi programmingTop Skills Details:Automation,Programming,Troubleshooting,hmi programmingAdditional Skills & Qualifications:The job will require 2 weeks of training to start with the client. Then it will require travel to the site they designed once commissioning begins for a few weeks.
