- Drive front-end fit and finish, ensuring a polished experience is delivered to the end user
- Translate high-level objectives and design principles into elegant visual design
- Participate in user research activities inclusive of participatory design sessions
- Interpret business needs into effective visual communication tools
- Develop behavioral prototypes, user flows, final design assets, hi-fidelity mock-ups, and lightweight design specifications
- Design user experiences that are intuitive and elegant and in-line with current design trends and concepts, delivering wireframes, user stories, user journeys, and mockups optimized for a wide range of devices and interfaces
- Collaborate with product teams to create prototypes that convey user experience intentions, and deliver high quality, testable code
- Collaborate with product owners, stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into UI/UX deliverables
- Provide design guidance, proof-of-concept, and code reviews to product development team-articulate design considerations, trade-offs, benefits, and recommendations for UI design
- Provide direct technical support and problem resolution assistance for production and process issues
- Excellent written and verbal English proficiency and be able to communicate effectively
- Excellent eye and visual taste, including a passion for simplicity and a clean, crisp aesthetic
- Experience designing graphical user interfaces elements and UI mockups/prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites function and look
- Experience building responsive user interfaces for a wide variety of screens
- Expert level of knowledge in JavaScript (required), HTML5 (required), and CSS (required)
- Experience using CSS Preprocessors (SCSS, LESS)
- Solid understanding of advanced JavaScript libraries and frameworks, such as Angular, jQuery, Bootstrap, etc.
- Up-to-date working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, and associated design tools)
- Up-to-date working knowledge of Figma
- Expertise working with users to collect and document user requirements and creating user interface design specification
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent experience
- Portfolio or samples of UI development work required
