In this role you will support NASA's International Space Station Program (ISS) in the Avionics and Development Integration Office (ADIO) as a technical integrator and project manager.

The position on-site in Houston, TX.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Serve alongside the ADIO NASA manager to assist with integration and project management activities across the office
  • Support Certification of Flight Readiness (COFR) activities across GNC, Communications and Tracking, Command and Data Handling, Visiting Vehicles (commercial and international)
  • Engage in activities across various project areas to develop, integrate, and sustain ISS avionics and radio frequency systems to ensure safe and effective operations of the ISS
  • Support visiting vehicle activities allowing for the ISS to continue as a research platform
  • Support problem resolution teams and engage at the ISS Program office level in a liaison capacity
  • Support multi-center activities, specifically out of NASA MSFC and GSFC
  • Support special project initiatives from formulation to implementation

What You Need to be Successful

Minimum Requirements:
  • BS degree from an accredited school and five (5) years of related integration or project manager experience
  • 12 or more years of increasingly responsible professional engineering/scientific experience, including multi-disciplinary systems engineering and/or program management environments
  • Experience in managing requirements and system engineering in the aerospace sector
  • Ability to prepare written documents and to verbally present at various meetings
  • Ability to lead projects through implementation and work across teams as a lead integrator
  • Able to organize and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines and schedules with limited supervision
