Requisition Number: 81061 By joining Insight Enterprises as a Technical Project Coordinator, you will enter a tech-savvy and highly collaborative world. We provide the hardware, software and support services for our customers' most criticial IT projects. As such, we are aware of a need for a technical project coordinator to join the effort to incorporate a handful of newly acquired businesses into our customer's infrastructure.

Please note, this is a 6+ month contract position that has the possibility to extend. As of June 1, the expectation is that this role will be performed on-site and will require travel to other locations throughout the nation.

This is an ideal role for someone that is passionate about business, and has a broad level of understanding of typical enterprise technologies (O365, Enterprise Networking, Enterprise Infrastructure, etc.) The ideal candidate profile is someone that has been 'in charge' of all things IT at a smaller organization. The logic here is that an IT Manager at a smaller organization will understand all of the changes that need to take place in a business when being acquired and migrated to a new infrastructure.

We are looking for someone that knows how all of the modern enterprises technologies work together,

not someone that knows how to configure/troubleshoot said technologies.

What you will be doing:

Focus on gathering data points around networking, laptop/desktop, servers, storage, AD objects, and Email objects.
With the discovery data, we go through a design process to determine what is in or out of scope for the migration activities.
Develop a list of action items that need to be remediated on the "source" environment as well as some specific configuration on the destination side to prep our environment ahead of the migration
Participate in meetings that focus on the details of the design so implementations go smoothly.
Once the implemenation is underway, the focus will switch from planning to updating and monitoring progress.

What you need to join:

10+ years related experience
Excellent communication both written and verbal
Wide range of previous IT related project coordination / management experience
Ability to travel 50% of the time and work on-site in Houston the other 50%
Solid organizational skills to juggle all the things during an implementation/migration
