UI/UX DesignerFull-time Job Description The Systems Specialist whose primary focus will be User Interface / User Experience (UI/UX) design for the company portal and related web applications including our external website. This person will work effectively under minimal supervision providing technical support within a collaborative environment for our business users. The ideal candidate must be effective at communicating design ideas with business users in non-technical terms. Modern web programming experience is a plus; the candidate must be willing to independently learn new front-end programming technologies on the job. General skills
- Graphic web design.
- Provide expertise regarding user interface and user experience best practices.
- Provide exceptional customer service for our business users.
- Content management for web applications.
- HTML/CSS design and development.
- Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) or Bachelor of Computer Science (BCS) or similar degree from an accredited school is required.
- Portfolio of five samples of graphic web design work (digital mockups or live Website links acceptable) is required.
- Basic HTML/CSS programming knowledge is required.
- 1-2 years of HTML/CSS programming experience is a plus.
- 1-2 years of JavaScript programming experience is a plus.
- 1-2 years of TypeScript (React/Angular) experience programming is a plus.
- 1-2 years of GIT repository experience is a plus.
