Recruits and deploys sales resources for the area. Mentors and leads the development of account plans and opportunity pursuit plans with account executives/managers and technical sales team.

Communicates with regional leadership team regarding sales, business development, pricing, technology solutions, new business relations, RFP's/RFI's and customer and competitor activity.

Familiar with basics of managing global compensation and mentoring/guiding other team members through hiring process of new employees.

Enterprise software selling experience strongly preferred.

Sales Manager II is responsible to deliver against metrics such as quota attainment, sales skill competencies, forecasts accuracy and predictability, whitespace (market/customer share) and pipeline development.

Skills typically acquired through completion of an undergraduate degree and 3-5 years of experience in successful sales management and 8-10 years of high attainment in direct sales.

Candidates having qualifications that exceed the minimum job requirements will receive consideration for higher-level roles give (1) their experience, (2) additional job requirements, and/or (3) business needs. Depending on education, experience, and skill level, a variety of job opportunities might be available from Sales Manager II to Sales Manager III or Sales Manager IV.
