RESPONSIBILITIES- Performs Day-to-Day activities to administer VDI in support of end-users.
- Creates and deploys application packages to VDI users.
- Preform all system updates and monthly patches.
- Troubleshoots complex issues and provides incident resolution for all related incidents requiring escalated support or subject matter enterprise.
- Administer Azure Virtual Desktops and Windows Virtual Desktop (WVD)
- Perform Monthly patching on all VDIs.
- Thin Client Imaging, deployment and management using Dell Wyse suite
- Troubleshooting application deployment and upgrade issues
- Windows 10 WVD deployment
- Troubleshoot and resolve voice and call center application issues related to VDIs
- Must have a minimum of 5 years of related experience administrating a virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI)
- Must have experience providing end-user support related to VDI
- Experience with SQL Server HA Clusters
- Experience in administering Windows & file shares and NTFS security
- VMware ESXi Virtualization
- VMware Horizon View VDI
- Experience with VMware DEM.
- Operating Systems (Windows 10, Windows 2012 R2, Windows 2019)
- SCCM for patching and app deployments.
- VMware App volumes and Microsoft App-V application virtualization experience
- Azure Virtual Desktops and Windows Virtual Desktop (WVD)
- Active Directory and Group Policy Management
- General Scripting Knowledge (VBScript, PowerShell)
- General Administration of Unix/Linux
- Thin client management
