Job Overview
Seeking a dedicated medical assistant. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing quality patient care and administrative support in a new location. This position requires an understanding of medical terminology, patient service, and clinical procedures, as well as the ability to work effectively in a clinical situation.
Duties
Answer phones and schedule patients. Communicate with patients, physicians, and staff to facilitate patient care.
Previous experience in a medical assistant role or similar position is preferred but not required if in training for medical assistant certification or certification of ophthalmic technician.
Knowledge of medical terminology and familiarity with EHR systems is essential.
