Overview:
We are looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Make Ready Technician to join our apartment maintenance team. This role is responsible for preparing vacant units for new residents by completing repairs, cleaning, and ensuring everything is in top condition. If you take pride in your work and can handle a variety of light maintenance tasks, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
Turn vacant apartments quickly and efficiently
Repair drywall, paint, and touch-ups
Replace fixtures, outlets, and light plumbing as needed
Clean appliances, bathrooms, kitchens, and windows
Install blinds, door hardware, smoke detectors, etc.
Report any issues that require major repair
Work closely with maintenance supervisor and property manager
Requirements:
Experience with apartment make readies, general maintenance, or handyman work
Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and carpentry
Own basic hand tools
Reliable transportation
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
Preferred:
Bilingual (English/Spanish)
Experience in multifamily or residential properties
