Wanderstay Boutique Hotel is a 10-room boutique hotel located in East End, Houston. We seek individuals who are upbeat and positive and have a can-do attitude. This is a place where you can utilize your skills and experience and where hard work and dedication are acknowledged and rewarded.
Pay: $15-$16/hourly (depending on experience)- Part-Time Hours
Shift Hours: 9:30am-2:30pm

Responsibilities Include:
In this role you will supervise and train Housekeeping staff.
Clean common spaces, kitchens, bathrooms, and rooms as assigned. Includes cleaning walls, floors, mirrors, and windows; dusting paintings, windowsills, furniture, counters, and door frames; mop floors as needed.
Prepare rooms for guests, including making the beds and cleaning the furniture and floors.
Complete all assigned tasks as outlined on shift checklists.
Empty trash and recycling as necessary.
Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies.
Report any maintenance issues that come to your attention.
Respond quickly to guest requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner and follow-up to ensure guest satisfaction.
Represent and promote the hostel in a positive manner to guests, local officials, local residents, community media and the general public.
Attend mandatory meetings and other training courses as directed.
Wash, dry, and put away laundry, including bedding and towels.
Deep cleaning as necessary.
Complete all other duties as assigned by management.
Skills/Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED.
Customer service and problem resolution skills.
Attention to detail.
Ability to multi-task.
