Work Schedule: Mon-Friday 9am-5pm
Summary: Responsible for handling the processing, verifications and document preparation of real estate loans and refinances. Performs financial calculations, gathers loan stipulations and communicates discrepancies/errors to loan consultants and/or customer to ensure efficiency, problem resolution and quality loan files.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Ensures contracts submitted for funding has been accurately completed and ensures submitted contracts and loan packages are complete, accurate and reflect proper approval from CEO.
Verifies information on the credit application pertaining to employment, residence and credit history.
Closely inspects loan package documentation for suspicious or fraudulent documentation.
Performs quality review of loan packages, prepares loan documents for mailing and assists with the scanning and funding of contracts.
Complies with all company policies and procedures position involves regular access to specified personal information of consumers, including, but not limited to, Social Security numbers and dates of birth.

Education and/or Experience The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a high school diploma and/or GED: Two to three years experience as a loan processor and loan originator on real estate loans preferred.
Mathematical Skills Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, interest and percentages.
Computer Skills To perform this job successfully, an individual should have intermediate knowledge of MS Excel and MS Word.
