Primary Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for enhancing & maintaining our reporting and analytics suite for our Premier & Elite customer service clientele
  • Support Line of Directors and Operational Managers with reporting questions and issues
  • Provide quality review and sign off for new data queries & dashboards in development
  • Work with technical teams to review and troubleshoot reporting and data issues
  • Document processes, best practices, and reporting requirements
  • Work with cross functional teams to leverage more efficient business intelligence processes / architecture
  • Translate highly technical concepts in ways that can be understood by a variety of audiences
  • Uncover the true unmet need of our business partners, and deliver solutions that make it simple for them to answer their most pressing questions

Required Qualifications:
  • Associate's degree or equivalent experience
  • 1+ year experience working with SQL or performing data analysis (or equivalent)
  • 1+ year experience working with data in Excel, Tableau, PowerBI (or equivalent)
  • Experience in analysis, problem solving, follow-through, and resolution

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Creativity and strong willingness to think outside the box when building solutions
  • STS(Spark Thrift Server) development experience
  • Alteryx development experience
  • Snowflake development experience
  • Intermediate level of database structures & design
  • Project management experience
  • Health care or insurance data background
  • Predictive Analytics or Data Science experience
  • Agile and scrum experience

  • Competent communication, time/project management, problem solving, organizational, and analytical skills

your life's best work.(sm) We have an opportunity for a UniHub Associate Business Systems Analyst (26) to join the OA (Operations Analytics) team and work with our business partners support the UHC Premier & Elite clients. We are an ambitious reporting team that works to solve complex business scenarios and are looking for another innovative developer to join us. You will meet directly with the Line of Directors supporting our most important customers to assess and interpret their reporting needs. You will work as a trusted advisor to help identify and design interactive reporting solutions based on the needs of our customer even when those needs are not apparently clear. Creativity and out of the box thinking will be necessary to provide solutions that will provide actionable information to different teams across the organization. You will use various data query and visualization tools (Tableau, SQL, Alteryx, STS, Snowflake, etc.) to access multiple data sources and design insightful products for our business partners. You will work with various teams, each with unique backgrounds and perspectives, to develop solutions. All Telecommuters will be required to adhere to UnitedHealth Group's Telecommuter Policy. Colorado Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $53,300 to $95,100.
