Job Summary: This Senior SAP FICO Systems Analyst will drive FICO Projects and related process improvements. Engage in large, complex, cross functional and visible projects to completion as an SAP subject matter expert and process improvement leader. Suggest creative solutions or facilitate collaboration to address complex requirements. Hands on experience in design, development and unit testing source code in SAP ABAP along with good knowledge of configuration. Provide input to resolve conflicting cross functional issues to bring alignment to business partners. Make recommendations on implementation of the SAP applications as well as integration with third party systems. Work closely with business and IT stakeholders to develop proof of concepts of proposed technical solutions. Have technical skills to do configuration and ABAP program changes, as required.

  • Analysis- Collaborate with process owners to analyze business processes and propose process improvements enabled by information technology.
  • Design and development - Based on analysis described in Part 1, develop technical designs and implement software solutions to support business process improvements. Senior Analysts may lead and/or participate in hands-on development activities including custom programming using company development tools and/or package software configuration.
  • Project Planning - Formulate, communicate, and execute project plans, with limited supervision.
  • Team Leadership - Collaborate with project team members. Establish project priorities and participate in formulation of cross-functional project priorities. Provide cross functional integration among SAP and Non-SAP roles. Act as a project team spokesperson.
  • System Support - Anticipate and investigate production system problems/questions ascertaining root cause and corrective action needed. Design, develop, test, and implement corrective action.
  • Training - Plan, prepare and deliver appropriate training to end-users.
  • Professional Development - Develop technical skill sets, leadership skills, presentation skills, business area knowledge and independent thinking/decision making abilities on an ongoing basis. Stay abreast of technology innovation and its applicability to company business.
    • Gain detailed knowledge of Business processes in specific areas of responsibility including interaction(s) with other business processes.

    Minimum Qualifications: Degree:
    • College Degree (Bachelors Level) in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related degree.
    The minimun number of years of job related experience required by this job is:
    • Minimum of 8 years of SAP / ECC6 technical and functional experience.
    List any specialized training or unique skills required:
    • Senior Experience ABAP programmer with fluent knowledge SAP Financial Configuration, Integrations, and Related Processes
    • Strong integration knowledge among SD, MM, PTP, FI processes, master data, as well as integrating with external POS systems.
    • This position requires on-call and after hours support rotation.
    • General knowledge of SAP ECC 6.0, Business Intelligence, BOBJ data warehousing, SOA, Microsoft.Net, ABAP, Idocs, batch scheduling, web services and workflow/process automation software, WinShuttle Experience, Power BI, Power Automate a plus.
    • Must be able to lead the gathering of requirements, design, configuration, testing and deployment of functionality related to SAP.
    • Must have experience in Debugging ABAP, APIs
    • Must be customer focused and possess: (1) the ability to identify and analyze issues and develop solutions to a variety of highly complex problems; (2) excellent analytical, verbal, and written communication skills to accurately document, report, and present findings; (3) excellent interpersonal skills to interface with all levels of employees, management, external contacts, end-users, and technical contacts.
    • Must have ability to manage numerous competing demands, work within resource and time constraints.
    • Self-starter with willingness to learn new technologies in a self-development environment and use learning experiences to seek new and innovative solutions to business needs and implement them to enhance productivity for the business organizations we support.
