Project Scope: Our client has an immediate need for a Business Analyst with the following skills and experience: Responsibilities:- Working with the business customers, develop and refine problem statements for approved demands. Via workshop sessions, meeting facilitation and interviews, create all related documentation that will support proper architecture design and Information Security review tasks necessary for demand approval and proper PMO hand-off and implementation
- Support the business customers with their demands in the pipeline, coordinating with peer Business Analysts, Functional Owners, Technology Review Board members, IT Architecture and PMO.
- Liaises with IT Architects, IT Security, Software Asset Management and other groups participating in IT Demand management to prevent roadblocks from interrelated processes and conflicting priorities
- Creation and maintenance of required documentation as defined by the BA Community of Practice for the Demand process as well as dependent PMO processes
- While supporting peer BA's and Business customers with navigating the Demand process, identify areas for continual improvement, creating greater efficiencies with intake and processing
- 10+ years of demonstrated IT and/or Business experience;
- 3+ years working in the area of Business Analysis, Business Process Design
- Hands on experience in SharePoint and ServiceNow considered an asset.
- IT Service Management (ITSM)
- Business Service Modelling and experience maturing the IT Services model considered an asset
- Must be able to work in a distributed global team.
- Must have 3 years Engineering, Resources or related services experience
- BS/BA required in Business and/or Information Technology or equivalent work experience
- ITIL or IIBA accreditation an advantage
- Project Management methodology accreditation nice to have
