JOB DESCRIPTION:
Security officers usually perform the following tasks under the direct supervision of their Supervisor or Manager. Access control of vehicles entering and exiting the property. Properly document all needed information for those individuals and vehicles entering and exiting the property.
JOB DUTIES
Controls access to the facility ensuring only authorized personnel are permitted on site.
Maintain surveillance of the site to ensure the perimeter and or buildings remain secure.
Deescalate situations
Completes daily activity reports, Incident reports, and other mandated reports per the job assignment and post orders.
Officers may provide escort details and perimeter fence checks as requested
Other duties assigned as per the Standard operating procedures
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Must have a valid High School Diploma or GED (Must provide a copy)
State Licensing requirements apply- Must be licensed with state or have a Level II certification
Must have the ability to conduct extended foot patrols
Must be able to climb multiple flights of stairs
Ability to effectively communicate with others
Ability to prepare and Maintain accurate records and reports
Ability to respond to emergency situations as per operating procedures
Ability to hear & see in low light situations
Ability to lift 30 pounds (specific site requirements may vary)
Capable of working outside in extreme weather conditions
Capable of comprehending site specific policies and standard operating procedures and the ability to implement such as needed.
Must pass Background Check and Drug Screening

Minimum Qualifications
At least 21 years of age or older as required by applicable law or contractual requirements
High school diploma / GED or equivalent
Ability to provide proof of ability to work in the United States (I-9 Verification)
Ability to read, write and speak English and communicate effectively both orally and in writing
Ability to interact with the public in a direct and professional manner
Ability to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation
No felony convictions or criminal history that would impact ability to perform the duties of the position.
Negative result on the pre-employment drug screen
Pay period: Biweekly
Non-Commission $10 and up
Commission $11 and up
