Some of the responsibilities include monitoring network and security infrastructure and systems to ensure information systems security. Contributing to the planning and implementation of security measures to protect computer systems, networks, and data. Required Skills & Experience
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required. Bachelor's degree (B.A.) in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field preferred.
- Must have a solid understanding of information technology and information security, including firewalls, virtual private networks, penetration testing and other security devices
- Knowledge of NIST 800-53, FISMA, SOX, FFIEC
- Active member in technical workgroups to recommend effective security configurations and architecture
- Perform management and administration of Vulnerability Scanning, Log Event Management, Web Filtering and Intrusion Detection Systems
- Maintains current awareness of the latest intelligence, including hackers' methodologies, in order to anticipate security vulnerabilities
- Monitors compliance with internal policy and third-party compliance mandates
- Analyzes software patching reports
