GDH Consulting is looking for a developer with .NET experience interested in growing their skills in the energy space. Someone with Java Visual Scripting experience would be a strong plus.

As IT Analyst - Developer, you will provide support in analyzing, developing, and implementing information systems. A focus on efficiency, the ability to solve sophisticated problems, and technical acuity are keys to success! style="box-sizing: inherit;" style="box-sizing: inherit;" Responsibilities/Expectations: style="box-sizing: inherit;" Provides trade floor support for users of the Energy Trading and Risk Management (ETRM) system style="box-sizing: inherit;" Takes calls, resolves system and data problems, answers user questions, and serves as a specialist on the Endur/gMotion software style="box-sizing: inherit;" Documents, tracks, and monitors end user problems to ensure timely resolution style="box-sizing: inherit;" Develops design documentation to meet user requirements; modifies the system to meet design requirements through configuration changes style="box-sizing: inherit;" Assists with the testing of system changes and new software releases style="box-sizing: inherit;" Monitors the health of real time ETRM applications and data; initiates enhancements and projects to improve automation of monitoring and alerts when unexpected results or scenarios occur style="box-sizing: inherit;" Recognizes inefficient business process and application capabilities; provides input into alternatives that increase efficiencies, reduce costs, and improve security, disaster recoverability, and supportability style="box-sizing: inherit;" Fosters and maintains partner relationships to provide clients with an outstanding customer experience style="box-sizing: inherit;" Other duties as assigned style="box-sizing: inherit;"

Education/Years of Experience: style="box-sizing: inherit;" Required: High school diploma/GED and a minimum of one (1) year of IT experience style="box-sizing: inherit;" Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related field and a minimum of two (2) years' IT experience style="box-sizing: inherit;"

Other Requirements: style="box-sizing: inherit;" Extensive knowledge of Oracle databases, sql and procedures style="box-sizing: inherit;" Extensive knowledge of JAVA, .Net, C#, Visual Basic, Endur AVS/JVS style="box-sizing: inherit;" Ability to perform at a high level without close supervision style="box-sizing: inherit;" Outstanding customer service and problem solving skills style="box-sizing: inherit;" Ability to collaborate with multi-functional teams style="box-sizing: inherit;" Understanding of AVS/JSV scripting and related functions style="box-sizing: inherit;" Preferred: A minimum of two (2) years of Endur Natural Gas experience with a solid grasp of trading, scheduling, risk management, confirmations, invoicing and accounting with the ability to configure the system components style="box-sizing: inherit;" Preferred: A solid understanding of Endur/gMotion and the Natural Gas Industry style="box-sizing: inherit;" Preferred: Knowledge of Open Components style="box-sizing: inherit;" Preferred: Deep understanding of Macros/VBA
