Oracle DBAHouston,TX11 months Contract on W2 Hybrid- Onsite for 3 Days/Week BS/BA degree or equivalent experience10 years of Oracle DBA experience with strong understanding of database architecture and performance tuning skillsExperience architecting, supporting and implementing advanced, strategic database management systemsDemonstrated ability to drive Agile development and implement automated process to improve database system reliabilityAdvanced knowledge of IT infrastructure, with a background in systems and network administrationStrong development skills in a dynamic programming language such as Python, Javascript, .NET, Perl, SQL, TSQLProficiency in multiple business disciplines and functions and knowledge about the firm's strategic directionStrong critical thinking, problem solving and communication skillsDemonstrated ability to deliver results and provide good customer experienceAdvanced experience administering various multi terabyte 24x7 uptime oracle databases as a infrastructure database administratorStrong working experience with Oracle Versions 11g R1/R2, 12c, and 19c on various UNIX and WINDOWS platformsExperience with Multinode RAC cluster, ASM, Oracle Dataguard, Oracle OEM, and Oracle Golden Gate technologiesExtensive knowledge with Backup and Recovery using Oracle RMAN, ZDLRA appliancesBroad technology exposure including networks, distributed servers, SAN/NAS storage, virtualization, messaging, databases, and all major operating systems
