Chacho's is looking for a smart person to primarily do tech work in our 3 restaurants in Houston. The primary work would include connecting computers, televisions, phone systems, etc. as well as many other computer related tasks. You do not have to have previous experience supporting computers in a commercial environment, but you must be intelligent and computer savvy, meaning you can build a computer or solder or know how to troubleshoot well equipment where you have worked. Perhaps you can fix your own washing machine or change out electronic boards.
We are San Antonio based and have knowledgeable people to guide you through the needed tasks. We will train you the specifics of the work here, including the POS software.
You must have a good, "can do" attitude and be willing to cheerfully do whatever needs to be done. This includes getting dirty when doing installations and wiring. You must have basic good computer skills that any current smart computer user has and be willing to do other jobs as needed to help support the restaurants.
This a full time, permanent position, and the hours can be flexible as we are a 24 hours operation and you may be able to work at night on the needed projects. There will be scheduled jobs that must be done at certain times as well.

If you have other skills or have worked on restaurant equipment in the past like ovens, microwaves, or electronic mechanical equipment, would be qualified. This job can be expanded into working on all of our equpment for a full time job as once the minor computer work is running well, we would need additional items worked on and PM.
Requirements:
Unless you want to only drive your own vehicle, you must have a clean driving record.
No drugs - random drug testing done.
Able to work in greasy, loud areas and work out of your vehicle must of the time. Currently there isn't a bench/worshop set up but we have the ability to do so for the right person.
