This position applies computer science, data engineering, and data analysis principles to maintain, develop, and support OFM deployments to various global business units. OFM is a software suite created to support SA&O workflows such as Production Surveillance and Waterflood process in SBU's. Rate & Location Requirements: -Candidate must be local to Houston, TX
Responsibilities: -Comfortable working in an Agile environment with an evolving set of software languages, integration and cloud technologies. -This role will consistently deliver innovative solutions, driving them through design, planning, development, deployment and support that simplify business processes and workflows to drive business value. -Be comfortable driving discussions clearly with a wide range of partners and levels of the organization -Ability to plan, organize, coordinate work activities across multiple teams and be successful at meeting deadlines and keeping projects on time, driving towards a common goal and alignment with key strategies -Manage tasks that span support groups, end users and vendors resources. Works well with global teams and across time zones Required Qualifications: -Knowledge and hands-on experience in SQL, SSMS, Toad, Oracle / SQL Server -Working knowledge of software engineering principles -Working knowledge of petroleum engineering principles is a plus -Strong communication (written/verbal) and facilitation skills with solid ability to convey business and technical information to a diverse audience -Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to engage difficulties with persistence -Self-directed, flexible, working with minimal supervision, takes initiative, displays a high degree of ownership -Ability to effectively deal with change and consistently maintain composure and logical thinking while under pressure -Organized and skilled at planning. Ability to work from a high-level to a low level of detail and handle multiple assignments with varying priorities and deadlines -Experience/knowledge in Agile SAFe, Kanban and Scrum methodologies Required Analytical Skills: -Demonstrated ability to apply critical thinking and analytical skills to independently troubleshoot issues and deliver on results. -Proven aptitude in translating business requirements to quality technical solutions. -Communication and Interpersonal Skills: -Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with management, peers, and customers across disciplines and geographies to clearly articulate issues, impact, and advise on preferred solution(s). -Proven ability to meet priorities and produce high quality deliverables and results while handling multiple work items.
