OUTDOOR CINEMA TECH REQUIRED FOR VENUE IN UPTOWN/GALLERIA

- You will oversee the daily operations of the projector and technical set up for the cinema
- supporting the venue manager and the cinema staff team with any technical questions
Your purpose it to make sure that the film is set up and ready to go! We provide full training!

This is no ordinary cinema. Rooftop Cinema Club is a leading event cinema with venues in Los Angeles, San Diego, Houston, and New York. The successful candidate will work closely with the Venue Manager, Venue Staff, and Operations Manager to take care of the technical function of the experience.
You must be good with computers, able to trouble-shoot issues calmly and practically! You must also enjoy warm sunsets on beautiful rooftops.

Your Main Priority?
Ensure all services are opened on time, and we are show-reel ready for the event.
Content Ingestion and Server/Projector Maintenance
Loads feature and trailer drives onto our library server
Downloads in-house content via Rooftop Cinema Club's File Transfer Protocol
Deletes old content from library server and projector computer server
Schedules repair calls with local service tech
Parts, Supplies and Equipment Ordering
Maintains an inventory of all booth equipment
Logs any technical issues quickly for resolution
Orders additional audio and video accessories as needed via our Office Manager
Submits receipts for purchases to management
Projector "Popcorn Box" Booth
Ensures tech run of entire feature prior to public show is completed
Cleans and organizes to maintain a spartan workspace
Coordinates with programmers and hosts to determine show flow and special needs
At the event!
Operates microphones, mixers and lights for intros and Q&As
Support staff with ad hoc technical elements such as iPads, etc.
A good candidate:
1+ year of AV/Live Event Tech Role
Very hands-on, someone with a 'can-do' attitude
Very personable and professional
Loves troubleshooting and double-checking!
This is a fun role for someone who enjoys films and being outside during the summer, rain or shine.
Job Type: Part-time
Salary: $120/day
