Control Panel Builder and Electricians (502 South Main St, Galena Park, 77547)

Compensation: Starting pay $14-24/hr Depending on Experience

Job Summary:

Electronic Control Panel Builder to assemble and wire industrial motor control panels. Experience & skills with power and hand tools necessary, ability to read schematic wiring drawings and experience with conduit installation required.

Job Requirements:

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics

Ability to recognize and understand electrical symbols

Previous experience with electrical wiring, preferably in a panel shop

Wireman must have the ability to use hand tools, power tools and other related electrical equipment

Ability to work quickly, while always utilizing safe work practices

Ability to stand, stoop and/or kneel for extended periods of time

Job Responsibilities:

Assemble / install industrial motor control panels using hand tools and power tools

Read and interpret blueprints and schematics and recognize components

Assemble electro-mechanical components with interconnect wiring

Cut, strip, bend and mount wires to connect electrical units within the panel box

Identify and correct malfunctioning installation and/or components using test equipment and hand tools

Ensure continuity of circuits in electrical wiring to ensure safety of system

Control Panel builders work with high and low voltage electricity and electrical wiring components

Required Experience:

Electrical “ 2 year

Employment type: full-time / part time / contract / temp

MUST HAVE 2-5 YEARS RECENT EXPERIENCE.

Must be able to maintain a clean, safe, and productive work space.

Normal Production Hours are from 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m

Must have dependable transportation and be ready to take & pass electrical test

We have a 90 Day probationary period

Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
