We are seeking a full-time Distribution Assistant to join our team at our Glen Flora, TX location. This position is on-site.
Your duties will include:
- Process and maintain purchase orders and invoices
- Support the Transportation department by performing dispatch and clerical support
- Prepare and compile reports and other work orders
- Ensure collection of payment for COD deliveries from drivers, and maintain phone contact with them
- Assist with departmental problem solving as needed and provide administrative support as needed
Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Two to five years of dispatch experience strongly preferred
- Ability to read/write English; ability to communicate in English
- Bilingual Spanish is helpful but not mandatory
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients and other Everde Growers employees
- Knowledge of MS Suite and Oracle
