Job Description - Lead Full Stack Developer
Lead Full Stack Developer Our client is looking for a someone that has the drive to learn, integrity and energy to take the Dev team to the next level! You will be leading a team of about 5 developers, while remaining hands on. They just moved over to Vue.JS framework, having Vue.JS experience is going to be key in the success of this position. We are looking for a fullstack developer that is heavy on the front end. If you can test your own code, that is a huge plus! Healthcare experience is a bonus. As a lead software developer, you will be working closely with project managers, quality assurance and business analysts to design and develop web and mobile software applications. You will provide technical expertise and promote communication, integration, and collaboration for enhanced software development productivity. Responsibilities for the lead software developer include:- Sets goals for team members and provide coaching to achieve those goals

- Very strong front-end skills with proficiency with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery
- Strong experience with at least one front-end framework, preferably Vue.js
- Strong PHP and SQL (preferably MySQL) experience.
- Strong experience with unit and end-to-end testing
- Experience with mobile app development (IOS or Android)
- Experience with API integration and RESTful architectures
- Experience in Agile methodology (SCRUM)
- Comfortable working on Linux and/or OSX
- Jira, Stash and Bamboo - project management, build and continuous integration
- Linux server configuration and management
- AWS deployment and administration
- Network security
- Experience with the CodeIgniter framework
- Experience with Bootstrap
- Responsibilities sometimes require working evenings and weekends, sometimes with little advanced notice.
- No regular travel required.
- This is an in-office, full-time position in Houston, Texas.
