If this position may be interested to you, please email me back at somp767@kellyservices.com (with your most up to date resume in word format) and advise the best time and number at which you can be reached Job Title: SCCM Application Packager Location: Houston, TX, 77024 Type: ONLY on W2 contract (NO C2C) Length: 7 months Pay Rate - Open for discussion Work schedule: Mon-Thurs in the office / Friday's remote The Application Packager will provide end to end delivery of software/application to the environment. He/she will be responsible for interfacing with end users, vendors, and other IT staff to configure, customize, package, and deploy applications. A strong working knowledge of SCCM, PowerShell, and workstations. Responsibilities:
- Package applications using multitude of tools and technology using vbscript, PowerShell, MSI, Windows Installer etc
- Microsoft Registry and ability to query or modify settings.
- Create and manage application deployment objects for new and existing software
- Maintain ongoing communications with support teams regarding application issue resolution and general workstation management support
- Provide 3rd level support for the desktop platform
- Work with key platform vendors for support to resolve issues as well as platform strategy development
- Provide technical assistance to support groups as needed
- Monitor Microsoft MECM (SCCM) Platform health and mitigate identified problems for deployments
- MECM (SCCM) Client remediation/support, resolving and maintain MECM (SCCM) client health on Workstations.
- Package/Troubleshooting/Support Applications Installation
- Monitor Incident and Service requests, to resolve or reassign to the appropriate resources to address
- Work with different support teams to determine root cause of issue an escalate as needed
- Interacting with clients as needed
- ITIL Experience, understanding of change management processes
- Some networking experience for troubleshooting SCCM distribution issues
- Some experience with Elevated Privileged Management system (Similar to CyberArk EPM
- High School Diploma or equivalent, Bachelor's preferred
- At least five (5) years' experience performing duties similar to those listed in the Overview section above
- Experience working in an oil and gas setting preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Problem analysis and resolution
