Job Summary The primary purpose of this role is to have single-threaded ownership of delivering Technology projects of various size and complexity, and that typically involve multiple products or product groups. This includes responsibility for managing projects end-to-end through the planning, development, execution, and implementation stages, while adhering enterprise Technology project practices. Overall, this role contributes to Technology projects that play an important role in moving the organization forward by providing large-scale technology improvements across the business.

To be successful, the individual in this role must leverage a background working directly with or in the technology function and apply deep expertise in IT related project/program management.

Qualifications Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, MIS, or related field (or equivalent work experience in a related field)
  • 5 years of experience in IT or technology focused business area
  • 3 years of experience managing IT specific projects/programs involving the implementation of SDLC project life cycle methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, etc.)
  • 3 years of experience developing IT project Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) / User Stories used to create project schedules and estimates
  • 2 years of experience using formal business process improvement methodologies
  • 1 year of experience managing operational or project/program financial budgets in the technology space
  • Experience leading technology project teams with or without direct report responsibility
  • Background in business analysis, software design, software development, data architecture, operating systems, software testing or related technical area

    Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, MIS, or related field
  • Project Management Institute (PMI) or other project/program management certification
  • 4 years of experience in IT project planning and coordination and working on projects or programs requiring the integration of cross-functional IT solutions

  • Corporate retail experience
