Operate a forklift and pallet jackUtilize warehouse inventory log to ascertain correct freight to be loaded from shelves or other warehouse locationsIdentify freight for loading or unloadingUtilize material handling equipment, safely and efficiently, to load/unload freightAssists in maintaining the security and safety of the warehouse.Process customer paperwork and shipping informationLoad/unload cargo from/to vehicles/trucksPrepare, palletize, and/or breakdown cargo as neededMake sure paperwork related to the cargo is accurateAssure proper handling and delivery of cargoClean up and sweep warehouse, dispose garbageMaintain safe operation of warehouse vehicles and equipmentFollow Hazmat and Security Requirements and RegulationsAll other duties as assigned by supervisor/managementQualifiers:Must be able to pass all pre-employment screenings, background checks and government security.Must be able to pass a drug test.Case-by-case: Convictions will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis; convictions will not necessarily bar a candidates employment.High school diploma or GED preferredMust possess a valid Drivers License to drive comp[any cars and or trucks.Must be able to lift 70 poundsMust have basic computer skillsMust be at least 18 years of age for insurance purposes.Must possess the ability to read, write, fluently speak and understand the English language.Must be available to work varied shifts, including nights, and occasionally on weekends, and holidays.
