You will develop systems and manage data for a high performing team of traders. Top performers are expected and rewarded.

Day to day tasks will include writing and maintaining C# code for scraping websites, investigating broken scrapers, investigating SQL performance issues, building internal websites with HTML and JavaScript, and writing SQL queries for the analysts and our internal Rest API.

The Developer will be responsible for improving the existing SQL Server database designed to collect, analyze, and report large datasets for fundamental analysis of multiple energy markets. Initially this person will improve data quality, write queries, address user requests, and develop procedures for handling new data sources, while learning the existing systems purposes and designs.

This person will be expected to challenge the status quo with a natural curiosity and desire to learn the unknown, including any gaps in technology expertise. You will be expected to write functional code in the most elegant style that allows for scalability and future enhancements.

Any trading environment experience, statistical methodology or energy experience would also be a plus

Must have a Bachelors - A Masters would be a plus

Must be based in Houston
