Cloud Program Manager

Terrific 18+ month contract opening in Irving, TX for a Cloud Program Manager. Will acta as an Agile Release Engineer responsible for managing initiatives, engaging with Security Operations, Public Cloud Operations and Engineering teams, DC teams, Application Teams, Systems and Database Admins teams to deliver on business requirements. Expectations of this role: 1) driving to successful outcomes within a given timeline 2) gathering business requirements 3) coordination of standard solution designs 4) coordination of security /risk policies with security teams 5) coordination with operations and engineering teams on issues as they arise 6) managing project documentation in accordance with (Program and Project Management Procedure) 7) Partnering with external cloud vendors as applicable 8) ServiceNow Cloud Transformation Responsibilities: • Program Increment planning for Agile teams, creating Release plans showcasing dependencies, capabilities, and features to be delivered across cross functional scrum teams. • Identify risks and issues, which impact program and project deliverables with follow through on mitigation, resolution and path to green. • Drive prioritization and alignment by collaborating with Epic and Product owners, Solution Management, Scrum Masters and internal and external stakeholders. • Drive deliverables required to meet approvals from stringent Internal policies for Security and Compliance • Create and maintain Information radiators for effective communication. Escalate impediments, manage risk and drive resolution to meet goals. • Prepare and report project status on a regular basis, including metrics needed for various risk groups • Escalations to management and business as required • Coordination of global virtual teams working across multiple time zones / regions Qualifications: • 5+ years of experience as a program manager and release engineer in a large enterprise environment. • Very strong experience in Cloud/virtual environments, network, and related technology applications, large scale enterprise data centers, databases, storage, and cloud. • Understanding of migration to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, PCF, etc.) • Strong Project Management skills/working knowledge of the techniques for planning, monitoring and controlling programs and resources in hybrid Traditional/Agile methodology • Able to maintain and report project delivery tracking and metrics • Able to articulate the project lifecycle • Strong Excel skills: Pivot Tables, vertical and horizontal lookups • Strong MS Project Skills: Project schedule building/editing with multiple dependencies/schedule shifting • Strong SharePoint experience. • Strong JIRA experience. • Strong PowerPoint skills: Visual representation of data in charts and graph • Prefer SAFe certification. • Valuing Diversity: Demonstrates an appreciation of a diverse workforce.
