Principle Software Developer to help us build powerful product features and systems for our digital marketing and loyalty platforms using best-in-class engineering approaches and solid data management practices across every layer. What you’ll do:

  • Using a service-oriented architecture approach, you will design and develop multi-tier, customer facing and internal applications.
  • Work with client and internal teams to understand strategic objectives and client requests to evolve the platforms.
  • Prioritize technical projects across teams to ensure the development of seamless features.
  • Provide technical consulting, advanced trouble shooting and subject matter expertise to cross-functional team members.
  • Use Agile and DevOps methodologies, including test-driven development, infrastructure as code, and continuous integration and deployment.
  • Ensure test coverage in support of our continuous integration environment and to drive quality.

What you’ll bring:

  • B.S. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
  • 8+ years of experience.
  • Experience with Spring framework.
  • Proficient in distributed computing, such as Hadoop, Spark or related.
  • Experience with data streaming technologies, such as Apache Kafka.
  • Working knowledge of cloud deployments and tools, in particular AWS.
  • Experience with web architecture and design patterns.
  • Experience with CI/CD frameworks and cloud technologies, like AWS and Azure.
  • Experience manipulating large data sets, both structured and unstructured.
  • Proficient in Relational Database systems like Oracle/MySQL.
  • Familiarity with Microservices architecture.
