- Experienced I.T. Solutions Architect with strong understanding of TOGAF design principles and their application to Technology architecture.
- Able to design and explain the flow of session data and transaction data from HTTP to HTTPS to middleware services (applications and messaging) to database services and to a backup or HA architecture.
- Able to design a High Availability architecture and active-active architecture for session data and transaction data for applications and databases across multiple data centers.
- Strong understanding of Pivotal Cloud Foundry, Red Hat Open Shift and AWS Cloud services applied to above design requirements.
- Working knowledge of WebSphere, RHEL, WebLogic, AbInitio, IBM MQ, Tibco, Tuxedo, Oracle database, Mongo database & MS SQL Server in active/passive & active/active mode required.
- Strong understanding of Microservices architecture, virtual memory management, container sizing for kubernetes engine will be a major plus.
- Ability to understand a business requirement, understand its mapping to an application design and deploying creativity to find opportunity to save on infrastructure and software cost to create saves will be a major requirement.
- Strong understanding of Banking technologies like intelligent channels, ATM and biometric products is a key requirement for this role.
- Ability to participate in a POC, identify data anomalies, performance metrics to improve product design and enable application teams.
- This is a technical role for those with years of hands-on experience and ability to think through the benefits and consequences of a good and bad design.
