Title: Azure Data ArchitectLocation: RemoteType: Contract to HireSummary:As an Azure Data Architect, you will work across client stakeholders to determine solution requirements and rationalize architecture decisions. You will collect, aggregate, and analyze structure/unstructured data from multiple internal and external sources and present patterns, insights, and trends to decision-makers. Your goal is to support the use of data-driven insights to help our clients achieve business outcomes and objectives.Requirements:
- Ideally, good knowledge of IT acquired in various positions (requirements engineering, consulting, development, etc.) and, therefore, an in-depth understanding of the processes in software development
- Driving adherence to the relevant data engineering and data modeling processes, procedures, and standards
- Able to provide solutions to complex business problems through effective & flexible data model solutions
- Ability to work with others from diverse skill sets and backgrounds
- Demonstrated ability to have successfully completed multiple complex technical projects and create high-level design and architecture of the solution
- Experience developing and managing data quality monitoring and working with data governance councils and stewards, including creating and tracking KPIs and data dictionaries
- Enterprise architectural exposure/knowledge to connect with customer Data Architect and ability to instantly whiteboard and mind share on cloud solutions and possible options
- Experienced in Azure PaaS Services like Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Bricks, Azure SQL Managed Instance, Azure Functions, Azure Push Notifications, Azure API Management required
- Must have experience on at least one end-to-end data warehouse implementation on Azure cloud and end-to-end data warehouse implementation on-premise.
- Must have expertise in Azure Cloud Platform as a Service (PAAS).
- Hands-on experience on Azure storage services like SQL SERVER, Azure Data Lake, Azure Blob, Event Grid/Data Processing Services, Azure Analysis Services
- Should be able to troubleshoot problems across infrastructure, platform, and application domains.
- Must have experience in Agile development methodologies
- Must be effective and persuasive in written and oral communication.
- Knowledge of data integration processes and patterns, including messaging, event streams, Kafka(required), Extract/Transform/Load (ETL), and pub/sub.
- Demonstrated ability to track data lineage, metadata, and master/reference data through an enterprise.
- Experience working within a federated mastering system with a variety of sources.
- Experience creating Blueprints which include ARM templates, Policies, RBAC, and Resource groups and apply them to the Management Groups, Subscriptions, and environments for Organizational compliance
- Experienced in Azure Managed DevOps, creating Repos, Pipelines and Quality Gates
- Successfully perform various roles as Cloud Solutions Architect, Technical Lead and Lead Developer, and Mentor
- Knowledge of Master Data Management (MDM) and Data Quality tools and processes
- Strong knowledge with Web Services, API Gateways, and application integration (Azure Service Bus relay and Service Bus hybrid connections) development and design
- Experienced in architecting, designing, and implementing Service Bus priority queues using priority queue pattern
- Ability to conduct data profiling, cataloging, and mapping for technical design and construction of technical data flows.
