Primary Skills: Data Management

Role Description: The

Big Data Engineer must have at least 8+ years of experience.

Required Experience and Skills: - 5+ years of experience in working in a Data warehouse (traditional/big data) environment - 6+ years of strong SQL and Analytical skills - 4+ years of strong data model design - 3+ years in design of quality/audit artifacts - 3+ years in Bigdata: Hadoop - HDFS, Hive, Spark, MapReduce, PIG, Presto - 4+ years of strong experience using TERADATA - 2+ years of experience with any Visualization tool or Cube technology

Desired Skills: - 2-3+ years of working knowledge in Kafka/Storm data/Spark Streaming data pipelines - 3+ years of strong Index data store (Elastic search) - 2+ years in code documentation and API/Framework documentation/process build. - Knowledge of construction and design of data architectures and data modeling.

Job Duties: - Design and help develop Analytical/Semantic layers for building business intelligence modules on both traditional warehousing and big data environments. - Defines and plans data analytics architecture for enterprise systems. - Responsible for enterprise-wide data design, optimization, and resource utilization. - Follows data architecture standards, policies and procedures, and classification of data elements. - Responsible for design, implementation, recovery and load strategy. - Analyzes and projects long-range space requirements. - Communicates architectural approaches and makes database structural recommendations. - Coordinates with other Information Systems departments to ensure implementation of databases and monitoring of database performance.

Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Information Technology or another related field or Equivalent

Experience: Minimum 8+ years

Relocation: This position will not cover relocation expenses
