Kubernetes / OpenShift, Linux

Job Responsibilities

  • Help developers containerize applications and move it to Kubernetes.
  • Create end to end application deployment automation on Kubernetes using Helm & Operators.
  • Take ownership of issues and provide technical resolutions of issues related to OpenShift and Kubernetes.
  • Work on troubleshooting and resolving complex problems.
  • Automate recurring tasks in a container-based workflow into reusable CI/CD assets
  • Design, build, manage and operate the infrastructure and configuration of container platforms with a focus on automation and infrastructure-as-code.
  • Manage Hybrid cloud enterprise Kubernetes clusters.

Skills / Experience Levels
  • 6+ years of experience with Kubernetes or OpenShift.
  • Familiarity with at least one managed Kubernetes platforms (EKS, AKS, GKE)
  • Expert knowledge of CI/CD methodology and tooling (Jenkins, Harness)
  • Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code orchestration and automation tools (Terraform, Ansible, Chef)
  • Hands on expertise on Application deployment strategies on Kubernetes including, Helm, Operators and deployment patterns,
  • Knowledge of logging and performance monitoring tools (Splunk, Datadog, AppDynamics, ELK, Grafana, Prometheus)
  • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodology
  • Knowledge of Git and modern development workflows

Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
