The Applications Development Technology Lead Analyst is a senior level position responsible for establishing and implementing new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to lead applications systems analysis and programming activities.Responsibilities:

Partner with multiple management teams to ensure appropriate integration of functions to meet goals as well as identify and define necessary system enhancements to deploy new products and process improvements

Resolve variety of high impact problems/projects through in-depth evaluation of complex business processes, system processes, and industry standards

Provide expertise in area and advanced knowledge of applications programming and ensure application design adheres to the overall architecture blueprint

Utilize advanced knowledge of system flow and develop standards for coding, testing, debugging, and implementation

Develop comprehensive knowledge of how areas of business, such as architecture and infrastructure, integrate to accomplish business goals

Provide in-depth analysis with interpretive thinking to define issues and develop innovative solutions

Serve as advisor or coach to mid-level developers and analysts, allocating work as necessary

Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications:

6-10 years of relevant experience in Apps Development or systems analysis role

Extensive experience system analysis and in programming of software applications

Experience in managing and implementing successful projects

Subject Matter Expert (SME) in at least one area of Applications Development

Ability to adjust priorities quickly as circumstances dictate

Demonstrated leadership and project management skills

Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication

Education:

Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience

Master’s degree preferred

This job description provides a high-level review of the types of work performed. Other job-related duties may be assigned as required.BCMA technology within ICG has been entrusted with resolving several RBCMs as a part of a Regulatory ask for better governance and controls. One of these RBCMs is to automate reports for CRMS as a part of a de-risk program that would require the use of a low or no code data ingestion, data transformation, process digitization and reporting tool like Xceptor and build different reports as required by Central Banks worldwide. We have an immediate need for analysts who have either worked to configure reports using Xceptor’ s capabilities or who have worked on reporting and visualization platforms like Tableau/Alteryx etc. and are willing to quickly learn Xceptor capabilities. These individuals who will work within Agile squads to automate reports for CRMS based on prioritized requirements, build process solutions, work with the team on application testing and end user assistance for the new platform that would be built to automate the reports and the process workflows. The incumbent will support, develop and maintain the reporting and workflow application. This is a hands-on role that will require developing an understanding of the business and the various reporting requirements in order to aid the end-users and in successfully delivering on the consent order/regulatory ask.Responsibilities:

Work towards subject matter expertise on Xceptor’ s configuration capabilities within a limited and pre-set time frame.

Be responsible for all phases of the development process and analysis, design, construction, testing, and implementation as well as provide user and operational support as required.

Utilize in-depth specialty knowledge of applications development to analyze complex problems/issues, provide evaluation of business process, system process, and industry standards, and make evaluative judgement within a team environment,

Translate complex reporting needs into technical specifications and build that would include but limited to filtering criteria’s, custom groups, aggregations, calculations etc. and generation of Regulatory reports in a pre-defined and pre-fixed format.

Desired Qualifications:

1-2 years of configuration experience with Xceptor and 2-3 years of configuration experience with any other reporting tool

Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes using SSIS or any equivalent ETL tool

Experience in extract, transform and load data from various sources like Excel, CSV Files to different target environments (databases, files)

Access disparate data sources (databases and flat files) and apply internal and external business rules, policies and data quality measures.

Related Bachelor's Degree with at least 7 years as a developer.

Experience with SDLC and process methodologies (e.g. Agile, Waterfall, etc.)

Experience with Xceptor 4.6 or higher using InputOutput formats, Enrichment, Data Sets, Workflow, Match Rules, Message Hub, IIS etc

Strong desire to innovate and advance internal technologies and processes

Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (particularly Word and Excel) is required

Strong SQL background (joins, unions, aggregation, etc.)

Proficiency in Xceptor development toolset to design, develop, test, deploy and maintain code

Knowledge on SFTP, NDM, Autosys or any other scheduling tools (Nice to have)

Strong interpersonal skills and customer focus

Fast learner and analytical thinker-who can quickly learn Xceptor and demonstrate in-depth knowledge.
