Data Governance Manager (Vistex/SAP)

Location:

Irving, TX

Duration: 2-3 months+ temp-to-hire

Note: Mostly remote, come into Las colinas office for training and occasional meetings

JOB DESCRIPTION:The MasterData Governance Manager is responsible for the implementation, execution, and oversight of the North America Finance Shared Services (NAFSS) centralized master data governance and management strategy, including the development and implementation of standardization and activities that support the optimization of end-to-end business processes that consume Customer, Material, and Vendor master data within Vistex/SAP at each of its North American business units supported by NAFSS.

Minimum Requirements:
  • Typically requires 7+ years of overall professional work experience and 3+ years of managerial experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting or related field
  • 5-7 years of business operations or accounting related experience
  • Experience in Vistex or SAP Masterdata systems, Tableau or other visualization dashboard tools preferred but not required
  • Experienced in Governance, Risk and Compliance
  • Strong communication skills, oral and written
  • Stakeholder management skills
  • Presentation, visualization and strong analytical skills
  • Enterprise first mind set
  • Strong presentation skills using PowerPoint.
  • Sound judgment, strong business acumen and excellent executive presence required.
  • Experience managing other employees – track record for working collaboratively in a small department.
  • Experience with one or more of clioent’s business units strongly preferred

Key Responsibilities:
  • Defining data quality rules, thresholds and KPIs/metrics of quality that support critical business processes
  • Link data quality issues to business outcomes/value. SPOC for the implementation of cleansing programs
  • Lead discussions with cross-functional/BU teams,
  • Develop and maintain data quality corrective action plans and drive accountability against plans
  • Support glossary, metadata maintenance
  • Enforce DG processes, policies, data standards and rules
