Job Description:In this rapidly evolving world, Citi Global and ThankYou Rewards is always looking for new ways to disrupt the status quo, go to market faster, and optimize customer experiences. We are seeking an experienced delivery product manager to join us on this mission. The ideal candidate is comfortable playing the middleman, as our team bridges the gap between business and technology teams. This role is ideal for someone with an innovative mindset and real-world experience distilling business value and goals into roadmaps and refined product backlogs. Most importantly, you will be integral to helping us build better products that people love to use.Responsibilities of this Role:
Assist in development and analysis of strategic product roadmaps, product enhancement and development, product launches, and product marketing to gain maximum benefit from each product, as well as review surveys and analyze competitive industry landscapes to identify relative trends, threats, and opportunities for product managers
Contribute to achievement of acquisition targets, product financial performance, revenue performance, and expense management goals as well as oversee identification and execution of opportunities and gaps business plans
Work within a scrum team to lead assigned projects from ideation to implementation.
Partner with product management/business teams to create and maintain a product backlog according to business value or ROI.
Mitigate roadblocks impacting successful completion of release/sprint goals.
Work with internal and external contacts and vendors to analyze needs to ensure deliverables and milestones are on track.
Communicate and present product development strategy and milestones to senior level executives.
Balance exceptional solutions against timelines and capacity, with the ability to influence stakeholders and partners for best possible outcome.
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Requirements:
6-10 years of relevant experience
Impressively cool under pressure, with an unusual ability to create order from mayhem.
Ability to understand business objectives and convert to features, stories and high level requirements.
Obsessively organized, with the ability to track multiple deadlines and deliverables for multiple stakeholders and technical teams.
Proficient with user story format, technical documentation, JIRA and Confluence.
Exceptional partner with the ability to tactfully negotiate tradeoffs with stakeholders and tech partners.
Technical acumen, with knowledge of APIs, digital user experience and how it integrates with the back-end framework, batch files and more.
Well versed in Office Suite, including creating power point presentations.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree / University degree required.
