- Develop a short and long-term RPA vision and strategy to implement both operational "quick wins" as well as a continuous and sustained process for an increasing digital workforce.
- Develop and participate on the RPA Governance Board and lead the Robotics Process Automation COE which is responsible for RPA demand management.
- Identify and drive process "quick wins" by conducting automation feasibility studies, including benchmarking, to identify and prioritize opportunities for quick operational improvements through automation.
- Remain informed of industry trends in RPA, artificial intelligence and machine learning methods and new techniques, adapting and borrowing from best practice as required to increase the portfolio of automation tools used within 7-Eleven.
- Provide expertise, tools and techniques to help functional teams implement RPA solutions.
- Launch and scales up a demand management and business value delivery capability. This capability should include a structured process for identifying repeatable and rule- based activities that can be automated, an evaluation process for determining a level of fit and financial/business benefit of opportunities and a process for vetting, sequencing and prioritizing automation candidates.
- Develop RPA process design and blueprint which includes decomposing and documenting detailed "as is" process flows, developing target solutions and end state design and developing an implementation roadmap for prioritized processes.
- Build, deploy and support a growing digital workforce including coding and deploying robotic solutions for identified processes, maintaining and reprograming bots regularly as processes or systems parameters change and embed continuous improvement and RPA innovation across the business.
- Pilot efforts in a single process group, then scales up across the rest of the organization.
- Monitor expenditure against approved levels, investigates and justifies significant variances to ensure effective performance and cost control.
- Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements
- Own all aspects of the execution of each 'bot' use case. Including collaborating with process owners to gather and analyze as-is and to-be RPA processes, translating requirements into process improvement and process re engineering, overseeing development and testing and working with the appropriate functional stakeholders to successfully implement and demonstrably improve the process.
- Responsible for change management within the 'bot' environment - including but not limited to capacity optimization.
- Report and track success metrics on a regular cadence.
- Proven experience ensuring roadmap execution goals are achieved and able to balance both the short- and long-term strategy.
- Excellent leadership skills. Demonstrated ability to work in a matrix environment and ability to both influence and develop strong partnerships at all levels.

- Solutions-oriented, with a track record of identifying and implementing creative solutions
- Excellent communication skills, including business writing and presentations
- Experience in Automation tools such as Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism, and/or UI Path with Task Bots and Meta Bots
- Ideally possess a varied toolkit of programming skills in many languages and/or understand not only BOT configurations but the overall infrastructure of RPA solutions
- Experience working in an agile environment (e.g. user stories, iterative development, etc.)
- Strong problem solving, synthesizing, and analytical skills
- Demonstrated superior business process, project management and organizational redesign experience.
- Experience in managing a cross-discipline team and working in a highly matrix environment across many different businesses and IT leadership in an environment of competing interests
- Self-motivated with a process improvement mindset and the ability to understand the big picture, but also break that down into smaller actionable steps
- Advanced knowledge of RPA (strategy, deployment, maintenance, and support). Hands on implementations with RPA technologies
- Knowledge of other languages like C#, .NET, Java, etc
- Change Management leadership skills required
- Expert level facilitation and executive communication (written and verbal) skills required
- Any process optimization background (LEAN, Sig Sigma) is a plus
- Strong fluency in Microsoft PowerPoint
- MBA/Post Graduate degree is a plus
