The job description is as follows: Job Title: Google Cloud Platform Senior Big Data Engineer Location: Irving, TX (Hybrid) Duration: 30 Months Job Responsibilities:- 5+ years of solid hands-on experience in ETL development for KPI extraction and the data serving layer using Spark, Pig, HDFS, HIVE and Druid. Must have strong programming experience with languages like Python, Java and Scala.
- Experience with UNIX/Linux systems
- Building orchestration and processing flows using Oozie.
- Good experience with Big data ingestion, data processing and data modelling process
- Experience in taking proactive actions to Ability to identify typical problems and issues during the normal course of work and solve them with minimum guidance
- Proficiencies with Agile development practices and CICD process.
- Google Cloud Certified Professional Cloud Architect Certification
- Extract, Transform and Load (ETL) & Big Data Tools: BigQuery, Data Proc, Cloud Pub/Sub, Cloud Composer, Google Data Studio, Google Cloud Storage.
