Description We are seeking an HR Specialist in the Service industry, based in Irving, Texas. This role offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity and involves significant interaction with potential recruits, handling onboarding, and administrative duties. The candidate will work remotely, with the exception of the first day, which will be on-site. Responsibilities: Conduct thorough screening of potential candidates through various platforms such as LinkedIn, Indeed, and job boards. Carry out sourcing tasks to find suitable candidates for the company. Undertake administrative duties, including maintaining accurate records of new hires and monitoring their progress. Be the main point of contact for new employees, conducting welcome calls and answering any queries they may have. Collaborate with district operations managers to ensure smooth onboarding and integration of new hires. Complete background checks and handle any benefits-related questions from employees. Engage in light marketing activities and market research to help improve recruitment efforts. Utilize preferred software, such as ICIMS, for reporting and administrative tasks. Collaborate with vocational schools and military recruitment avenues to source potential candidates. Ensure customer satisfaction by resolving inquiries efficiently. Requirements Minimum of 3 years of experience in a HR Specialist role or similar Proven experience in onboarding new hires, including conducting new employee orientations Strong knowledge of Human Resources (HR) administration is essential Experience in mentoring new hires and training new employees Demonstrated expertise in managing employee relations and ensuring customer satisfaction Must provide administrative assistance as needed Proficiency in Benefits Administration Competent in using spreadsheet software Must have the ability to manage multiple tasks and high volume of work Excellent interpersonal and communication skills A bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field is preferred TalentMatch® Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
