Grow your career as a Technology Project Manager with an innovative global bank in Irving, TX. Long-term contract with excellent growth potential. Will be required to be onsite 5 days per week initially, moving to a hybrid schedule of 3 days per week.

Responsibilities: • Responsible for managing assigned projects/programs to deliver infrastructure technology by working with multiple technology streams in a matrixed environment. • Responsible for liaising with stakeholders such as senior business unit management and business leaders, technology support teams, construction managers, vendors, and end-users regarding project requirements. • Responsible for outlining, defining, and initiating the project. • Client interaction, effective stakeholder management, reporting and escalating risks and issues to the Portfolio Manager are also part of this role. • Establish and implement project communication plans, providing status updates to affected staff and stakeholders. • Set and track project milestones. Manage and account for unforeseen delays, then realign schedules and expectations as needed. • Ensure that all assigned projects/programs are managed within budget, scope and timelines, and follow the company's standard processes. • Opportunity to work on projects in other business unit portfolios.

Qualifications: • 3+ years of experience as a Technology Project Manager. • Thorough understanding of project management principles and planning. • Thorough understanding of information technology procedures and best practices for infrastructure projects in a large enterprise environment. • Experience coordinating with external vendors for installs and ensuring orders are in place. • Experience working with internal stakeholders to plan projects involving renovations, relocations, decommissioning, moves, etc. • Experience in Financial approvals such as bills of materials, writing up orders. • Proficient in general and specialized applications, software, and hardware used in the organization and the industry. • Proficient with MS Office, specifically Excel, PowerPoint and MS Project. • Waterfall Methodology is required for most projects, but Agile experience is a plus. • Strong people skills and excellent written & verbal communication.
